Dramatically improve skin tone and texture1 with MOSAIC 3D, the next generation 1550nm platform.

Non-ablative resurfacing, redefined

The Mosaic 3D device redefines non-ablative fractional resurfacing with its advanced 1550nm laser, designed to revitalize and brighten the skin. It combines both air-cooled rolling and sapphire-tip stamping in one versatile, effective platform. With integrated cooling and customizable energy delivery, the Mosaic 3D system allows providers to safely and effectively treat sensitive areas around the eyes and mouth, as well as the entire face and body. These unique features help minimize patient discomfort, erythema, and edema while enhancing treatment efficacy and safety. 3D Controlled Chaos Technology™ (3D CCT) introduces a new dimension to our patented CCT scanning, enabling you to take resurfacing to the next level.

Key benefits

  • High-quality textural improvement around the eyes and mouth
  • 3D CCT effectively stimulates mid-dermal collagen and elastin
  • Cold-compression sapphire tips for patient comfort
  • Boost ROI and differentiate your practice by offering comprehensive fractional resurfacing
  • Elevated results with reduced downtime

How it works

The Mosaic 3D integrated cooling system enables providers to safely and effectively treat sensitive areas around the eyes and mouth. Cooled air flows through the handpiece and onto the unique cold-compression sapphire tips, which simultaneously cool and compress the skin. This helps reduce pain, erythema, and edema, while enhancing treatment efficacy, safety, and patient comfort. 3D Controlled Chaos Technology (3D CCT) optimizes the distribution and depth of multi-level microbeams, and reduces the risk of bulk thermal heating, allowing for increased treatment coagulation volume per stamp without compromising safety. The Mosaic 3D system also measures and tracks energy delivery, giving providers greater insight and confidence in the quality of each treatment.

Before & afters

Testimonials

“In our 20 patient MOSAIC 3D study, patients experienced impressive skin revitalization after just 2-3 treatments with mild to moderate downtime. 3D Controlled Chaos Technology helps to make the treatments more effective while reducing the risk of bulk heating. This is an advanced and versatile platform – a much-needed upgrade to existing non-ablative fractional resurfacing devices.”

Robert Murgia3, DO, FAAD, Dermatology & Skin Health

“The Cynosure Lutronic MOSAIC 3D 1550nm non-ablative fractional laser has improved our ability to target superficial and mid-dermal depths, helping to reduce the appearance of tone and textural irregularities. Our patients are impressed with their healthier-looking, more radiant skin—even after just one or two treatments. Adding MOSAIC 3D to our repertoire had allowed us to target all layers of the skin when combining it with Genius and Ultra in the same session. For patients who are needle-phobic, or not candidates for RF microneedling, MOSAIC 3D gives us the flexibility to customize treatments that reach the deeper dermis.”

Alison Young3, MD, PhD, Young Dermatology

“The Mosaic 3D fractional resurfacing laser delivers outstanding results. The cold compression sapphire tips are amazingly effective at improving tone and texture1 and addressing premature aging around the eyes and mouth, while reducing the usual amount of downtime for moderate to aggressive fractional treatments in these areas. Air-cooling really improves patient comfort during treatments and 3D CCT lets us further customize to each patient’s individual needs.”

FAQs

Is numbing cream required, and how long is a typical face treatment?

Yes, numbing cream is recommended for most treatments. Typical Mosaic 3D facial sessions range from 20 to 35 minutes.

How would you characterize the treatment experience and recovery period?

Patients describe the Mosaic 3D treatment as tolerable, often rating it a 3 or 4 out of 10 in discomfort. The integrated cold airflow helps maintain comfort during the procedure. Recovery typically lasts 2 to 5 days. Mild redness and swelling may occur for up to 48 hours, followed by several days of dry skin as the fractional resurfacing process initiates surface renewal.

How many treatments are required to achieve optimal skin revitalization?

A series of 2 to 4 treatments is usually recommended, depending on your skin condition and goals. You and your provider will determine the best plan to meet your skin revitalization needs.

How are air-cooled rolling and stamping technologies combined during treatment?

Mosaic 3D uniquely combines these capabilities in one platform so patients can benefit from highly effective cold compression sapphire tips ideally suited for treating around the eyes and mouth, while the efficient rolling technique rapidly and consistently helps to fractionally treat tone and textural concerns across the entire face. This combination enables providers to effectively address multiple skin revitalization concerns at one time.
