A state-of-the-art 532/1064nm dermatological workstation that can safely and effectively treat a wide variety of vascular and pigmentary conditions.

The ultimate dermatological workstation

The DermaV laser is the ultimate solution for eliminating unwanted reds and browns. Its advanced cryogen cooling capability maximizes patient comfort and minimizes downtime, while Variable Sequential Pulsing (VSP) allows for precise, size-specific vessel targeting, delivering better clinical outcomes, without the need for expensive dye kits.

Key benefits

  • Customizable treatments for vascular and pigmented lesion reduction
  • Advanced cryogen cooling capability maximizes patient comfort, minimizes downtime, and increases safety across all skin types
  • Variable Sequential Pulsing (VSP) specifically targets vessels for improved clinical outcomes
  • No need for expensive dye kits, resulting in higher ROI and fewer consumables
  • IntelliTrak™ technology quickly and consistently covers large treatment areas with precise overlap, resulting in faster, more effective treatments
  • DermaV treatments can improve the appearance of vascular lesions by 90.9%1
  • DermaV treatments deliver superior results with lower fluence, reducing risk while outperforming Pulsed Dye Lasers (PDLs). They are also more comfortable and result in less purpura compared to PDL’s2

How it works

The DermaV laser uses solid-state 532/1064 nm wavelengths to effectively target both vascular and pigmented lesions. Its high power and large spot sizes, combined with advanced cryogen cooling, enable safe and efficient treatment of red and brown discoloration. Variable Sequential Pulsing (VSP) precisely targets vessels of varying sizes to enhance clinical outcomes. VSP also amplifies tissue effects without increasing fluence, improving results while minimizing risk. IntelliTrak ensures faster treatment of large areas with consistent, precise overlap, boosting both efficiency and return on investment.

Testimonials

“We have used DermaV’s Variable Sequential Pulsing modes to successfully treat patients that have been resistant to existing devices. We are impressed with the clinical results and lower rates of edema. ”

Jeff Dover3, MD, FRCPC, Skin Care Physicians

“The Derma V workstation has been a lifesaver for our practice. We have struggled with reliability and service issues on our PDL and converted many patients over to our DermaV treatments. We love the ease of use, high power settings with larger spot sizes, and speed of treatment. DermaV treatments beat PDL for addressing pigment associated with poikiloderma and sun damage. It’s been a game changer in our practice.”

Melda Isaac3, MD, MI-SKIN Dermatology Center

“I can say with confidence that the DermaV workstation has been a game-changer for our practice. In just one treatment, we have seen a significant reduction in redness in some difficult cases. Patients have been raving about their treatments. I highly recommend it to anyone in the field!”

 Ann Hern3, MD, Lifetime Dermatology

“The DermaV workstation has lowered the number of sessions that we need to treat, compared to the old 595/585nm and PDL’s. We can use a large spot size effectively, which we never could with the older lasers. It completely changed my practice for patients with rosacea, redness, and anything vascular. It really is the ultimate solid state laser platform”

FAQs

Do patients experience discomfort during DermaV treatments?

DermaV treatments feature Intelligent Cryogen Cooling to maximize patient comfort. While some patients may experience mild discomfort during treatment, the cooling system soothes the skin almost instantly, reducing downtime and enhancing the overall experience.

How long is a treatment and what recovery time is needed?

Session times typically range from 5 to 20 minutes, depending on the treatment performed. Afterward, patients may experience mild redness or slight swelling, but it’s safe to resume normal activities immediately. Any temporary redness can be easily concealed with light makeup.

How many sessions are suggested for the best results?

The number of sessions required depends on the condition being treated, as well as the size and location of the area. Some concerns may resolve after a single session, while others may require multiple treatments to achieve the desired outcome.

1064nm: The DermaV laser system is indicated for stable long term or permanent hair reduction and for treatment of PFB (Pseudofolliculitis Barbae) on all skin types I-VI, including tanned skin. Permanent hair reduction is defined as the long-term, stable reduction in the number of hairs regrowing when measured at 6, 9, and 12 months after the completion of a treatment regimen. The 1064 nm laser is also indicated for coagulation and hemostasis of soft tissue, for hemostasis of vascular lesions such as but not limited to port wine stains, hemangioma, warts, telangiectasia, rosacea, venous lake, leg veins and spider veins. The 1064 nm laser system is also indicated for the treatment of benign pigmented lesions such as, but not limited to, lentigos (age spots), solar lentigos (sun spots), café au lait macules, seborrheic keratoses, nevi, chloasma, verrucae, skin tags, keratoses,
(significant reduction in the intensity of black and/or blue-black tattoos) and plaques. The 1064 nm laser is also indicated for the treatment of wrinkles such as, but not limited to, periocular and perioral wrinkles.
532 nm: for coagulation and hemostasis of vascular and cutaneous lesions in dermatology, including, but not limited to, the following general categories: vascular lesions [angiomas, hemangiomas (port wine), telangiectasia (facial or extremities telangiectasias, venous anomalies, leg veins)]; benign pigmented lesions [nevi, lentigines, chloasma, café-au-lait, tattoos (red and green ink)]; verrucae; skin tags; keratoses; plaques; and cutaneous lesion treatment (hemostasis, color lightening, blanching, flattening, reduction of lesion size).
