Shapero Dermatology is a community medical and cosmetic dermatology office located at 2065 Finch Ave West, Suite 300. We have been serving Western North York and the surrounding area since 1973.
It is our goal to provide a clinic where everyone in the community feels at home.
Andrea is an honors graduate of Queen's University. She is the head of aesthetics. Andrea has trained extensively in lasers and aesthetics with Dr. Harvey and Dr. Jonathan Shapero. She regularly attends the American Academy of Dermatology Conference, the Harvard Laser and Aesthetics Course, South Beach Symposium, Carribean Dermatology Association conference, and Skin of Color Seminars in New York City.
Anti-aging is an area of focus for Andrea. Each individual's skin is unique and requires a personalized approach. Available treatment options include Pelleve, at home products, lasers, and chemical peels. Andrea provides personal anti-aging consultations by appointment.
Dr Harvey Shapero practices as a community medical and cosmetic dermatologist, with a special interest in the treatment of skin of color.
Dr. Harvey obtained his medical degree at the University of Toronto, and trained in Dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital, Michigan.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Dermatology), and affiliated with Sunnybrook Medical Centre and Humber River Regional Hospital. He is also a Fellow of the American Board of Dermatology, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto.
Other affiliations include the Canadian Dermatology Association, Toronto Dermatology Society (former executive), Canadian and Ontario Medical Associations, the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Contact Dermatology Society.
Dr. Jonathan Shapero completed a Bachelor of Science with distinction at the University of Toronto, medical school at Queen's University and dermatology residency at UBC and the University of Toronto. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicans and Surgeons of Canada and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Jonathan has an extensive academic medical research background. He has authored publications in The Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, The Canadian Journal of Gastroenterology, Canadian Family Physician, The Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and The Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery.
