VP Human Resources
Maureen is an accomplished Human Resource professional. She began her career in Talent Acquisition at Daniel Roberts, a well-recognized Boston placement firm.
Maureen moved into Corporate Human Resources at Compucom in Dallas, Texas. Maureen joined this computer reseller as a member of the Compensation and Benefits Department, where she was involved with the organization’s redevelopment of its corporate structure. She managed an initiative that established companywide job performance measurements. In this capacity Maureen was involved in the design and creation of a career progression plan for the company’s IT professionals.
In 1995, Maureen was recruited to join Excel Telecommunications in Dallas, where she was hired to create and manage a $1.7 million training grant and for creating and managing a $1 million corporate “Training University.”
In 1998, Maureen moved into Human Resource consulting as Senior Management Consultant providing a wide range of strategic management consulting.
In 2005, Maureen joined Cynosure to lead the Human Resources function. In her role Maureen was responsible for Human Resources worldwide. By partnering with Senior Leadership Maureen helped to build a world class HR organization. During her tenure Cynosure was recognized as one of Fortune’s 100 fastest-growing companies.
In March 2017, Cynosure was purchased by Hologic. As the Vice President of Human Resources, Maureen continues to lead the Human Resource function for the Cynosure Division.
Senior Director, Strategy and Business Development
Sonal Patel joined the Medical Aesthetics division as Senior Director, Strategy and Business Development, a newly created role. She is responsible for strategic assessments of future growth opportunities for the division, including potential acquisitions. This position is critical to the long-term success to build on the legacy of double-digit growth that was driven by both internal development and external acquisitions. Sonal has a strong track record of helping leadership teams identify and drive their long term strategy, as well as support business decisions with data and insight.
Sonal joins the team from her position as Director, Strategic Marketing at Hologic Corporate, where she led the strategic planning process with Hologic leadership to evaluate adjacencies and expansion opportunities, which ultimately led to the decision for Hologic to acquire Cynosure. She comes with great context about our products and customers, and will help the division continue to grow our leadership position within the industry.
Sonal joined Hologic from Johnson & Johnson, where she held various management roles in strategic planning, marketing, and analytics within the orthopedic and neurosurgical medical device business.
She received her B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary
Anne Liddy is Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary. She serves as the primary legal support for the Cynosure Division. She also supports Corporate Shared Services and Human Resources and is coordinating counsel for legal compliance matters for the company. Anne joined Hologic in 2006 and has been practicing law for over 18 years.
Prior to joining Hologic, Anne served as in-house corporate counsel at Pfizer, Inc. where she provided general commercial and regulatory legal support to the consumer health business. She began her legal career at Ropes & Gray, LLP where she was an associate in the Health Care Department.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Holy Cross College and earned her law degree from Cornell University Law School. She also earned a Juris Doctor Certificate in health law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
VP, Global Services
Jim joined Cynosure in 2004 as Director of Sales Administration. He was promoted to VP Global Services in 2010. Prior to Cynosure, Jim was Sr. Director of Service Operations for Tyco Healthcare.
Having survived a late stage cancer, Jim is passionate about the healthcare industry and providing funding for compassionate care and treatments. Since his diagnosis, Jim has run over 9 marathons and done countless other fundraising activities, raising over $500,000 for cancer research.
