Academy 2025 Ultra Before + After Giveaway | B&A Contest Official Rules 

The Terms and Conditions contained herein (“Official Rules”) shall apply to and govern the Cynosure Lutronic, Inc. (“Sponsor”) Academy 2025 Ultra Before + After Giveaway. Giveaway contestants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. 

Term: 

Cynosure Lutronic’s Academy 2025 Ultra Before + After Giveaway begins May 16, 2025 at 11:59am Eastern Standard Time and ends July 31, 2025 at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time. By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest and states that he or she is 18 years old or older. 

Who May Enter: 

Prizes are open to entrants who are 18 years old or older. Cynosure Lutronic will determine winners’ eligibility in its sole discretion. Before and After sweepstakes is open to customers in both the US and Canada. Customers may only submit photos of patients who have provided written consent. 

How to Enter: 

Entrant must complete the following during the contest entry period:  

Go to https://www.cynosure.com/ultra-ampoule-before-and-after-contest/ and complete the Customer Licensing Agreement (“Licensing Agreement”). The Licensing Agreement grants Sponsor the right to use the photos, treatment settings, treatment conditions, and patients age (if given) for marketing purposes via digital, print, and video mediums.  

What to Enter: 

The Photo must comply with the following requirements: (i) the Photo may not feature any person other than entrant unless entrant has obtained all necessary written permissions and releases from such persons prior to submission and such persons are over the age of majority in his/her state of legal residence; (ii) the Photo must be entrant’s own original work (or the entrant must have the rights from the photographer to make the submission), created solely by entrant and not created professionally; must not have been previously published, released or distributed in any form; must not have won any award; and must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other personal or proprietary rights of any person or entity; (iii) the Photo may not contain, mention, refer or otherwise allude to any material that is violent, lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, disparaging, defamatory, libelous, racially or morally offensive or otherwise contain inappropriate content or objectionable material; (iv) the Photo cannot promote alcohol, illegal drugs or tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any political agenda or message; (v) the Photo cannot in any manner defame, misrepresent, contain disparaging remarks or reflect negatively about Sponsor, its products, or other people, products or companies or their products, or in any way reflect negatively upon such parties or explicitly or implicitly communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill with which Sponsor wishes to be associated, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion; (vi) the Photo cannot itself be in violation of any law; and (vii) the Photo must otherwise be in compliance with these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Submission that Sponsor believes, in its sole discretion, does not comply with or is in violation of these Official Rules or that otherwise contains prohibited or inappropriate content.

Determining the Winners: 

Winners will be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Submissions will be judged based on the following criteria: 

• Authenticity: The photo should be an original, unaltered representation of the transformation achieved using Sponsor devices. 

• Clear Transformation: The photo should clearly showcase a noticeable and significant improvement or change resulting from the use of Sponsor devices. 

• Visual Impact: The photo should possess strong visual appeal, including factors such as composition, lighting, color, and consistency. 

• Relevance: The photo should be directly related to the transformative results obtained through the use of Sponsor devices. 

• Technical Quality: The photo should exhibit technical excellence in terms of focus, clarity, resolution, and overall image quality. 

• Overall Impact: The photo should create a lasting impression on the viewer, emphasizing the exceptional and transformative nature of the results. It should stand out among other entries and leave no doubt about the outstanding outcomes achievable through the use of their Sponsor device.  

• Consistency of photo (lighting, background, etc.) 

Prizes: 

Sponsor will select three (3) winners according to the criteria outlined herein. All winners will receive a Hotel Stay for Two Nights at Cynosure Academy 2025 in Miami (A prize value of $1200) for the winner and one (1) guest. Airfare is not included. Winners will be notified via email by August 4, 2025 at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time.  

Use of Personal Data: 

Participation in the contest requires the collection of your name and email address. By entering this contest, you are consenting to the use of your name and email address for further communications regarding this contest. To access our privacy statement, click HERE. 

 Publicity: 

All submissions, regardless of winner determination, may be used for Sponsor’s marketing purposes.   

Governing Law: 

These Official Rules shall be interpreted in accordance with and governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. These Official Rules, in addition to the Licensing Agreement, represent the entire agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter hereof and supersede any and all prior and contemporaneous agreements between the parties, whether written or oral, regarding the subject matter hereof. These Official Rules may not be modified or amended except in a writing of subsequent date hereto executed by both parties. 

Unforeseen Events: 

Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to terminate this promotion at any time, including if Sponsor becomes aware of any occurrence which would materially affect the promotion’s security or fairness, including but not limited to technical malfunction of the contest website, software and/or hardware transmission failures, and virus contamination.
