A Smart Partnership that Makes Sense
SmartSense combines two mechanisms of feed back to deliver the appropriate level of laser energy - temperature and motion sensing.
Temperature Sensing:
- The ThermaGuide cannula contains a sensor which measures tissue temperature
- Your Smartlipo MPX workstation calculates average temperature and displays it on the screen
- Laser energy is delivered until the target temperature is reached, for a safer and more uniform treatment
Motion Sensing:
- The SmartSense accelerometer measures your handpiece movements using an advance microchip
- Precise laser power is delivered based on the speed of your motions
- If you stop moving the handpiece, the laser stops firing within 0.2 seconds for added safety
