Position : Research and Development Scientist
Location : Westford, MA

Description :

Responsible for the development of new treatments in the area of cosmetic dermatology. Responsible to define development Carry out experiments and product development functions involving current Cynosure technology as well as new technologies.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities :

*Will carry out studies both in house and using external collaborators to evaluate new techniques and lasers or other technologies.
*Analyze and evaluate data from both in house and collaborators to document development.
*Develop prototype systems to use in evaluations.
*Responsible for written reports, white papers, patent disclosures, and other publications as part of the development process.

Qualifications :

Position : Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location : Westford, MA

Description :

Responsible for the design and development of mechanical, thermal, and electro-mechanical sub-systems within lasers for medical applications.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities :

Must have BSME, and at least 10 years of product design and development experience with electronics packaging.
Responsible for the specification, design, implementation, testing and qualification of mechanical components and subassemblies for medical laser systems
Expertise designing injection molded plastic parts, sheet metal, castings, harnesses, and printed circuit board packaging.
Manage the mechanical development of projects, as well as directly contribute to the design verification and system level integration of mechanical subsystems
Experience working with cross-functional teams of optical, mechanical, electrical and software engineers, marketing, and program management to jointly develop new products in a fast paced environment
Works with Supervisors / Project Managers to develop detailed project schedules and budget.
Experience developing medical devices in an ISO and FDA regulated environment
Knowledge of IEC/UL standards for medical devices

Position : Field Service Technician
Location : Salt Lake City, Houston, CA,

Description :

Performs customer support activities for equipment, systems and sub-systems.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities :

Repair, test, calibrate and install laser systems, sub-systems and/or sub-assemblies
Report to supervisor any potential problems which could impact timely completion of assigned tasks, equipment shortcomings, and more complex equipment problems
Maintain complete and accurate service records
Interact with customers and monitor accounts
Provide on-site technical support to customers as required
Provide on-site technical support for workshops and/or shows
Overnight travel up to fifty (50) percent

Description :

This position requires a hands on manager who will lead the organization to implement, improve and monitor all company quality systems and to demonstrate compliance with ISO 13485:2003 and FDA QSR requirements. The person will be responsible for managing diverse functional groups to assure compliance with the corporate Quality Management System and appropriate standards.

Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 Quality Management System, functioning as the ISO Management representative.
Maintain the Quality System Manual, coordinate all required standard operating procedures, and serve as the principal contact for ISO registrar.
Develop, implement and coordinate training on released ISO procedures and forms.
Reviews and approves product documentation, maintains document archives for DMR, DHR, and DHF.

Manage non-conformance system related to internal and external findings.
Manage the Medical Device Reporting and Complaint File system (CAPAs).
Maintains all necessary regulation and standards documents required for normal quality assurance, engineering, and operational activities.

Qualifications :

Minimum Level of Education: BS Degree, ASQC Certificate in Quality or Reliability Engineering desired.
10+ years in regulatory affairs, quality assurance or related engineering fields with a minimum 3 years in the medical device industry.
